Meet Tahnee Day
Art that carries Country forward.
Tahnee Day is a proud Gunditjmara, Wemba Wemba, Yorta Yorta woman. She loves creating art and intricate designs utilising acrylic paint pens and other unconventional mediums such as makeup and face paint. Tahnee is always willing to learn new techniques and says her practice is ever evolving. She likes to experiment with different mediums and has big love for today's modern makeup, especially cinema graphic makeup.
More recently Tahnee has expanded her practice into fashion and textiles, participating in the Blak Design Program presented by the Koorie Heritage Trust in partnership with The Ian Potter Foundation and RMIT University, which produced the exhibition STITCHIN STORIES: BLAK & THREADLY, opened in March 2025.
